Rubdown; Rundown

Sunset Rubdown

As usual, I’m a little late to the party, but Sunset Rubdown is definitely worth a check. If we needed any more fuel for the voice genre discussion, it’s here. Get these:

The Courtesan Has Sung:

The Taming of the Hands that Came Back to Life:

In other non-news: Remember when I used to shoot panos? Yeah, I’ve been a doing a lot of other, less exciting things with photography lately, but I hope to change that soon. Ive got a couple panos that I shot weeks ago, but have yet to get around to stitching. I’ve also got a long list of new locations I hope to shoot soon. And all that hard work has actually begun to pay off (literally); The third image on this site looks awfully familiar doesn’t it?

dadblame Son! i turn around for five seconds and you’re stitching keepsakes for Bill Gates! i always knew you weren’t just another flash in the pano…sorry. but, yeah! i feel weird even talking to you now. well done BC. and back on topic - SR most assuredly qualify for voice revival. they’ve been one of those bands i heard about so much i actually didn’t look into them - i know it’s weird but, it happens sometimes. but yeah, thanks. it wouldn’t be a normal day for me if i wasn’t wrong about (or just completely overlooked) something.

Same here man. I had this same discussion (via face) with Rubens. Sometimes you hear a band’s name come up so frequently that it just never occurs to you that you should check into them. Hiding in plain sight and all that. I think if you try this one, you’ll be happy for days.

B, massive props thine way. Sweet. One of these days I must grab you and yours and take you to the studio. I’m hoping to use maybe a pano for the studio blog banner, maybe?!!

I still have to “thoroughly” check the rubdown.

Rubens, I’m waiting. I’d love to shoot some photos in that space. Let me know when the dust settles enough so that we can steal away for a couple of hours. I’ve eschewed nearly all domestic responsibility save for Linus rearing, so my slate is clear when you’re available.

See, Windows isn’t all that bad, now is it?

Not bad at all. I just wish they’d give me money more often.
