Perhaps if I were a little more intelligent I’d be questioning the idea of a “holiday” devoted to the dead and candy, but my mind just keeps coming back to my friend Jonathan. Let’s give it up for one of the true, modern, American zombies.
The surreal deal.

Me:
. I hate horror flicks
. I’m diabetic
. I’m South American
there’s still nothing to not like about this kid. Jonathan ‘08!!
Me:
. I hate horror flicks
. my brother is diabetic
. I’m North American
. I love Branden for putting this up again.
Yeah, the South American bit is just to inform the crew that halloween is nonexistent in that part of the world.
This thing is hilarious.
oh yeah, i figured. the north american bit is my wishing it was nonexistent here as well. you guys are both awesome. thanks for stopping by today.
I guess those of us who enjoy horror movies and
Halloween are unintelligent? Why can’t October 31st just be about fun? Don’t any adults remember being a kid?
I like turtles.
i like turtles and i remember being a kid. in fact, i had a lot of fun as a child involving turtles. i actually had tons of “fun” doing all kinds of things that didn’t involve terror or pagan customs come to think of it. don’t get me wrong, horror and the occult can be super fun - once you get to know them.
Neile, I remember being a kid sometimes a little bit too much, it’s just that I don’t remember Halloween (3rd point under the fourth samba comment). However in Brazil we would get dressed up as a hick for a little something called “St. John’s festival”. No candy being passed around though.
Unfortunately, people here in J’ville are always dressed as hicks. The redneck rich are more frightening than any movie. Do turtles go to the pumpkin patch?
