I first created the equirectangular image you saw in the last post. That was made with eight separate fisheye photos stitched into a single image. For this one I created a stereographic projection of the same scene. It still contains a complete 180*360 view of the scene, but in a completely different mapping. I used a lot different software to get here, but the bulk of the work was done in the free, open-source <a href="http://hugin.sourceforge.net/" rel="nofollow">Hugin</a>. That said, I was learning new software, so total time was much longer. I used to use <a href="http://realviz.com/" rel="nofollow">Realviz Stitcher</a> to create these, but I'm much happier with my results from Hugin.
