Super Mario Extra Special Sing Time (with Song Music)

Congratulations Marriage, you’re a teenager!

Here’s to thirteen years spent with the most amazing wife I could have ever hoped for. I love you Heather.

Missing Link

No, this isn’t a post on the current, sad state of gaming on the Wii. Of course I do miss Link, and the latest Zelda installment is still the last truly good game I’ve played on the Wii (which I could have just played on my Game Cube), but I digress.

I just thought I’d point out that my sidebar links have been changed a bit. I’ve added a couple things that I find myself visiting regularly. I also took this opportunity to separate some of the wheat from the chaff. I’d like to take a moment to speak to those of you that have been asked to leave.

GoNintendo - Hey, GoNintendo, I’m bored. I don’t need 16 links to reviews of Red Steel and Excite Truck. I know you’re a Nintendo fan site, but puhh-lease! I can only stand to hear the argument of “friend codes vs. no friend codes” so many times before my head collapses in on itself like a dying star. Wake me when a Wii title worthy of purchase hits the streets (and no, virtual console games don’t count).

GamesAreFun - Actually, you guys aren’t that bad, but Sony bashing can only take you so far. Wake me when games actually are fun again.

Threadless - More like threadbare. You guys have some great designs coming in from some awesome artists, but what’s up with the quality of these shirts? If I had to create a word to describe this situation, I’d choose “sugs.” Wake me when you dump Fruit of the Loom and go strictly American Apparel. I may have to recant this particular rant for just a moment because that Patchwork design is sooo tempting.

Del.ici.ous and Imageshack - Sorry, I needed the space.

Optimus Mine

Optimus Prime

If you like Transformers that don’t transform then you should take a long hard look at the Revoltech Convoy. I wasn’t familiar with the Revoltech series before this figure, but I gotta say I’m definitely a fan now. They’re well sculpted and painted, very detailed, incredibly articulated, and not terribly expensive. There’s also a Megatron coming in April.

I’ve been on a Transformers kick lately which has only been compounded by the eminent release of Michael Bay’s film (although G1 Transformers will always hold a special place in my very geeky heart). My desk will become even more cluttered later this month when Takara ships the Masterpiece Megatron. Now I just need a proper place to display these away from tiny, spit-drenched fingers (I’m looking at you Linus and Heather).

Thing about this:

If I were the Sun, I’d be intense!
