Wowie zowie. That was some hiatus. I haven’t spent much time in front of a computer since Linus was born, and blogging has been pretty far from my mind. Funny how quickly life-changing events can put everything into perspective. Two weeks away from work was certainly a refreshing way to unplug myself and spend some time with the people I love. My first day back was yesterday, and I’m slowly coming to grips with reality again. Last week I was staring at my son’s face; today I’m staring at polygons. C’est la vie.

Still feeding like crazy?!
Like I said, this weekend we won’t be able to make it. My brother’s girlfriend is in town. PRRRRRRhaps (Stella style) we can go next weekend?
Just send us a telegram when you’re ready to stop by.
Ooooh, a telegram would’ve been much better. I hired one of those airplanes that carry messages on banners to say:
“Heather, Branden and Linus we are coming soon but not this weekend”
…and it ended up costing us a pretty buck and it only said
“Arnoldo’s pizza 215-4DONUTS”.
I called the owner whose name was actually Upi (pronounced Ooo-pee) in order to explain the situation to see if I could get my money back, then he came around the back with a palm sander that smelled like meatballs and told me that he couldn’t give me back the money because he had spent it all in Southwest airlines. So I was like “Wow, are you taking your whoe family somewhere?” He looked at me and said “Naw, I got two planes to hold banners that say “Southwest thinks Arnoldo’s pizza is da bests” followed by the same #.
So then I said, “What about my money and message?” To which he replied “Do your friends like pizza donuts”
I said “What?”
It took him a bit too long to explain to me what the gazeebos “pizza donuts” were. He started with Romus, then talked about the invention of tartuffo, y’know … on and on…
So he finally granted us and inadvertently you guys a gift certificate for a sum of about $300 for pizza donuts served at Arnoldo’s now called “donuteria”.
Sorry.
Dangs dude. I think you just broke my blog with your comment. So you guys are coming over last weekend?
