Sufjan Stevens: Songs for Christmas

These songs have been floating around P2P networks for some time now, but Asthmatic Kitty have finally decided to make an official release of it. This five disc set is due out on 11/21 and available for preorder now (preorders ship on 11/14). If you haven’t heard these songs yet, then do yourself a favor and scrounge up the paltry $19 and order it. There are some really beautiful songs in here, and uh - hello, STICKERz!

If you’re already in the Christmas spirit, you can stream the entire set here.

and thanks to Luke for pointing this out to me!

Word! This is truly good. “O Come Emanuel” is one of my favorite joints in it. However I only have one of the discs. I wonder what he’s up to next.
Hey Branden, Savath y Savalas is coming out with a new one come soon. Still Catalan Spanish, this time sung by Guillermo Scott Herren (Prefuse 73) only, I think. Can’t wait.
Got a butt load of cd’s at that spot in Jersey last weekend but truly not many cigars this time. I picked up Icy Demons (Eastern Dev), but didn’t like it. I found out 2 days later that they are playing here. How are you guys doing? Here, peace…

Ru! which Icy Demons did you get?
Tears of a Clone is amazing if you
give it a chance…if not, you can
just mail it to me. see?
If you got their first one, it’s a
    little less structured…so, that
one you can drop off at your local
    animal shelter.

    Sufjan ’til infinity!

Allright, I’ll give it another chance. The first chance was a very quick chance. Good call. Yo, another reason why you guys should move up here… What other Easren Dev projects do you get down to?

Do you like Telefon Tel Aviv, Kopernik, Ammoncontact, Elliot Lipp…?

Eastern not Easren, which is the Bolivian version of Eastern Dev. Sorry.
