Circumhorizon Arc

I was digging around that site with the rainbow images and stumbled upon an image gallery of circumhorizon arcs. Don’t worry, I’ve never heard of them either. There’s a good explanation on the site as to how these occur, but it’s suffice to say that they are quite rare. Get impressed!

there are some amazing photos on that web site. the ice halo is really crazy surreal. it’s pretty funny that you posted about rainbows too. I have been interested in light as a subject for sculpture for a long time and I would like to actually start making some work with it again. but for now I am gathering some pictures. the sky is a good place to “wonder” . I liked your beetles post too.

And of course the baby photos are fantastic!! I can’t wait for that little BOY! to come. We are so happy for you and Heather. Your family is growing. how cool is the Lord in all He creates, created, and will create.
