There is a room in our house that is full of boxes which have remained untouched since we moved in two years ago. Most of these boxes contain toys and random junk that we just haven’t had time to deal with yet. However, from all this flotsam and jetsam I recently rescued my art supplies (a small portion of which is shown below). This may seem insignificant but if you take into account that fact that I’ve been on an art hiatus for the past two years then it becomes quite exciting. In the time since we moved into the house the bulk of my painting has been done on walls. House renovations has left little time (or desire) to do anything creative, so it’s good to finally see this stuff in the light of day again. Hopefully I’ll be able to start something when we return from Michigan. My recent safari into “box room” was also fortuitous in that I rediscovered my old shrimp gun. Surely shrimp gun will prove to be an indispensable asset this Summer.

Perfect!
I finally have the artwork for
my “SquidGun” ep. Thanks B!
…wait a minute. Is this just
your clever way of dropping the
baby’s name on us?
We’re too smart for that…
We saw it coming a mile away.
…we’re also too smart to
type “ShrimpGun”. what’s the
difference? they’re all bugs!
You have my permission to use the shrimp gun photo for your EP. You do not have my permission to use Shrimp Gun for your next child’s name.
YEEEESSSSSSSSS!!! Can’t wait to see what thine Cokerness is up to with the la tinta (hybrid of Portuguese and Spanish for the palabra “paint”).
Shrimp gun could definetely be an asset, I saw a lady down the street scooping shoodohkees off the sidewalk with one of those. At first I thought she had an overgrown bird claw! Hmm, go figure, small world.
You said it brother. It’s a short world indeed.
